Who can write for us
We accept guest articles from:
- Toy makers and toy brands (for ages 0 to 4)
- Children's book authors, illustrators and publishers (for ages 0 to 4)
- Sensory play and home developmental play product makers (for ages 0 to 4)
- Small businesses and online sellers of toys, books and play materials for ages 0 to 4
- Makers of apps for ages 0 to 4 that support play or early learning, described honestly and without claims
- Preschools, doctors and other professionals writing about play, toys or books for ages 0 to 4, as themselves and without promoting their school or clinic
- Promoters and marketers who represent a brand in this subject
We do not accept articles from individuals writing general parenting advice. This page is for brands and promoters whose products or work belong in our subject.
Three ways to appear on ZaminoToys
1. Guest article
You write one original article that fits our subject. It is published with the label "Guest article by [name], [organisation]". Your brand appears in the author box with a followed link, and you may include one relevant followed link inside the article where it genuinely helps the reader. Both links are published only if the article meets our subject rule and the requirements below.
2. Maker Spotlight
A short, honest feature about how your product is made and who it is for. We ask you for real details: materials, safety information, age range and price. We may add our own honest comments, including drawbacks. Your link follows the same rule as a guest article.
3. Sponsored feature
A feature clearly marked "Sponsored". Sponsored features are always labelled, and every link in them is tagged rel="sponsored". We decide whether a product fits our subject before accepting any sponsored feature. Payment never buys a positive opinion.
What we publish
Your article must stay inside these topics:
- Toys for babies and toddlers, aged 0 to 4
- Interactive and early books for ages 0 to 4
- Sensory play and sensory materials for ages 0 to 4
- Simple developmental play ideas that parents can do at home
- Screen-free play for ages 0 to 4
- Apps for ages 0 to 4 that support play or early learning, described honestly and without any developmental or medical claims
- Honest guidance on choosing, using and caring for the above
Every article must be useful to a parent who is deciding what to buy or how to play. A good guest article explains something honestly: how a type of toy works, what a book is built to do, what to check before buying, or one play idea with clear steps.
What we do not publish
- Articles that mainly advertise a product, service or school
- Pregnancy, infant feeding, infant care, general parenting, preschool curriculum or school-admission content
- Medical or developmental promises such as "boosts IQ", "cures speech delay" or "guaranteed brain development"
- Claims of expert approval such as "doctor approved" without the real, named reviewer
- Photos or details that identify a child
- Articles about a school or clinic itself: admissions, fees, curriculum, appointments or promotion
- Diagnosis, treatment advice, or any claim that a product is "the solution", including from a doctor
- Articles about an app that claim it develops, improves, teaches or treats anything, or that encourage long screen time for babies and toddlers
- Articles that are unrelated to toys, books, sensory play or home play for ages 0 to 4
- Articles written only to carry a link
- Content copied from another website, or content produced in bulk and sent to many sites
How guest articles are labelled and linked
Every guest article is labelled "Guest article by [name], [organisation]" at the top. Links to the author or brand may be followed (dofollow), but only when the article matches our subject rule and the author has met the reciprocal link requirement below. A link in a sponsored feature, or in any article where money, a product or another benefit has been exchanged for coverage, is always tagged rel="sponsored". We may change a followed link to nofollow if the article is edited so that it no longer fits our subject, if the link stops pointing to a relevant page, or if the reciprocal link is removed. Guest articles are free to submit, and we do not charge to publish them. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how we handle commercial relationships.
Reciprocal link requirement
Because we offer followed links, we ask the same in return. The guest author or brand must place a followed (dofollow) link to the ZaminoToys homepage, https://zaminotoys.in, inside one of their own published articles. That article must be about a topic relevant to our subject: toys, early books, sensory play or home play for ages 0 to 4. The link must sit naturally in the body of that article, not in a footer, sidebar or list of links. Please send us the web address of that article when you submit your pitch. We check that the link is live and followed before we publish your links as followed.
What you get
- Your name, role and a followed link to your brand in the author box
- One relevant followed link inside the article, where it genuinely helps the reader
- A clear "Guest article by" label so readers know who wrote it
- Honest editing for accuracy, safety and subject fit
- A link to your published article that you may share anywhere
What we do not do
- We do not charge for guest articles or Maker Spotlights. They are free.
- We do not promise rankings, traffic or sales.
- We do not write a positive review in return for payment or free products.
- We do not hide sponsored content. It is always labelled.
- We do not publish an article that fails our subject rule, even if the link requirement is met.
Article requirements
- Between 600 and 1,200 words, original, and written for ZaminoToys only
- Written in English, in plain language, in a clear and honest tone
- Within the subject rule: toys, early books, sensory play and home play for ages 0 to 4
- Any age range, safety information or developmental statement must be accurate. If you refer to child development, name a public source such as the CDC or WHO
- Your own photos or photos you have the right to use. No photos of identifiable children
- No exaggerated claims, no medical promises, no false expert claims
- Disclose any product you make or sell, and say honestly if you are recommending your own product
- For apps: state the age range, price, any in-app purchases or ads, and what data the app collects. Describe what the app does, not what it will do for a child. No claims
- The reciprocal link described above
How to pitch
Send us a short email with:
- Your name, role and organisation
- Your website
- The title and a three-line outline of the article you propose
- Which part of our subject it covers and the age range it applies to
- The web address of the article on your own site where you have placed a followed link to https://zaminotoys.in
- Whether the article mentions a product you make or sell
Please send a pitch before you write the full article. We reply to pitches that fit our subject. If we do not reply, assume the pitch did not fit. Articles sent in full without a pitch may not be read.
