Tested and Recommended Toys (Ages 0 to 4)

Each of the toys listed below passed the test in the same way. First, is it safe? Second, is it developmentally appropriate for this age group? And third and most importantly, will it keep my toddler engaged for more than five minutes or just look pretty online?

Some of these toys are those that I’ve already tested in real life with my two-year-old daughter. The others are research-based choices for our future consideration. I will never hide anything from you about whether I tested a particular product or not.

Most of the toys I’m going to recommend in the future are aimed at kids aged between 0 to 4 years old. Once in a while, when my daughter approaches a new milestone, I may suggest some toys for kids in the subsequent age range (e.g., handwriting skills or pre-school preparation items). If it is a toy that we have already tried, I will specify its actual age range.

As you can understand, no promises that such and such toys will make your toddler a genius in the near future are included.
