My Story

I’m Shafeer, a parent to my wonderful two-year-old daughter. Like every parent, I wanted the best for my child. But when I started looking for toys, books, and activities, I realized how confusing it actually was.

There was no shortage of information — every box, every listing, every ad claimed something. What was missing was anything simple, honest, and actually tied to my child’s age and stage.

The Turning Point

One afternoon, I watched my daughter completely absorbed in a plain, simple toy — nothing flashy, nothing that promised much on the box. That moment stuck with me: the right toy, at the right stage, matters far more than any label claiming it will.

That’s when the idea for ZaminoToys was born — not as a shop, but as an honest starting point for parents asking the same question I was.

About My Family

I’m fortunate to have a supportive family behind this. My wife has been part of this journey
from the start, and together we’re raising our daughter while building ZaminoToys — hoping
it genuinely helps other parents navigating the same overwhelming toy aisle we once stood
in.

Why I Built ZaminoToys

  • To make choosing toys simpler and less overwhelming
  • To provide honest, tested toy, book, and activity guidance
  • To help parents find what actually works for their child's stage
  • To be upfront about what I am — a parent, not a medical or child-development expert

I'm not a doctor, a child psychologist, or part of any expert panel, and I want that stated plainly here. What I bring is direct, first-hand testing with my own daughter, and honest reporting on what I find — including when something doesn't live up to its packaging.

Every child deserves the right start, and every parent deserves an honest answer — not another sales pitch. That's why I built ZaminoToys.

Let’s Figure This Out Together Thank you for being here. I’ll keep testing, keep being honest about what works and what doesn’t, and keep sharing it — one toy, one stage at a time.
